Good morning, what a great meal was had on Monday.
Both Phyllis and I loved the presentation along with the meal
and your tips on how to get the best taste and enjoyment from food.
Phyllis has asked me to see if you have a recipe for the salad. She
is still raving about that. Also tell Donna that the rissoto
was fabulous too. Our daughter stopped over last evening and
took a taste of what was left over and could not stop eating the
rissoto. She also took that recipe home. Our neighbors also loved
eveything. I was a little apprehensive about letting them come over
as this was a planned dinner for two, however, you guys just went
with the flow, which I really appreciate. Now that we feel more
comfortable with this type of event we may just do it again, and

I have a group of lady friends who love to gather together for a good
meal to celebrate our birthdays. The birthday girl gets to pick the
time and place, so this year for my birthday I wanted to enjoy a home
cooked meal at my house. But, since it was my birthday I didn't want to
cook! Luckily I found Michael Spatafore. What a gem! As other
reviewers have said, food was great, entertainment was great, he
supplies it all (except the kitchen sink). Everything from appetizers,
salad, main course and dessert was a taste delight. He's willing to
teach you his secret techniques and share recipes (he handed out printed
copies). We all had a great time, eating, chatting and of course
meeting Michael.

The best present my husband and I received was a gift of a meal cooked by Michael.
What
an amazing night my husband and I had as we watched Michael prepare the
most scrumptous meal of Chicken Piccatta, with Mushroom Risotto and a
very creative salad with Michaels special home made salad dressing. The
appetizer before the meal was Michaels signature home made bruschetta
. It was to die for and Michael came prepared since I am gluten free.
He even brought along gluten free crackers for me to enjoy the
bruschetta. Michael did everything from teach us how to cook the meal
and provided wonderful recipes for us to recreate this meal again. I
would highly recommend Michaels Taste of Sicily to anyone wanting a
great meal with a lot of interesting stories as well as funny jokes to
make the evening even more special. We can not say enough about how fun
the evening was and we even had leftovers to enjoy the following day!

I recently celebrated a "big" birthday. My husband was going to make a
dinner for ten, but then we heard about Michael and I am very glad that
we did. Not only did he bring in all if the ingredients for appetizers
and the meal, but also pots, pans, utensils, etc. We were treated to an
excellent preparation of bruschetta and eggplant rollatini which led
into swordfish grilled to perfection, asparagus with a white sauce, a
lovely salad and a delicious risotto. Dessert was home made cannoli.

Michael Spadafore demonstrated food preparation and cooked for four of
us in June 2012. Beginning with a delicious bruscetta, and progressing
to a salad featuring a lemon/shallot vinaigrette dressing, then grilled
swordfish accompanied by a mushroom risotto, the learning/dining
experience was delightful from start to finish. Fresh food, simply yet
deliciously prepared by a caring, congenial and talented chef left
nothing to be desired. We plan to have Michael back again next year.

his signature bruschetta, lamb chops, risotto and broccoli with feta.

This is no chain! This is custom Sicilian food at its best prepared by
an outstanding chef. It doesn't get more gourmet than this! Michael's
Taste of Sicily is a must try and you won't regret it as the flavors
explode in your mouth. We had Michael cater our wedding and every guest
there wanted his card and most hired him for their own events. We love
him and his food so much we have had him back again and again. His menu

Michael Spatafore, is an incredible chef who comes into your home and
prepares your family a home-cooked meal off a menu you select. We
originally obtained his name from Groopon and he stopped over our home
and cooked a delicious 5-course meal for my family (of 4). He was more
than happy to teach us the recipes, joked throughout, brought the pots,
pans, burner, ingredients, and even the dish washing cleaner so that our
house was spotless after he left. We enjoyed the dinner so much we
invited him to do it again a few months later for 3 couples. How much
fun it is to watch a top notch chef at work, be able to ask questions,
get written recipes, laugh, and eat a fabulous meal.
My wife and I strongly recommend Michael for a great home cooked fun meal at your home!

We were treated to an in-house dinner for eight by our (grown) children,
and what a treat it turned out to be! Michael prepared a terrific
Italian dinner from scratch and conducted a cooking class for us as he
went along. He brought EVERYTHING with him, including all the necessary
cooking utensils, fresh ingredients and a great sense of humor to go
along with everything else. (He's done stand-up comedy and
impersonations.) Before he left he cleaned up the kitchen, leaving us
to do nothing except the dishes.
